In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking tools and loads no content from third parties. Fonts and images are served from our own server. There is no contact form – if you want to reach us, please do so by email.
Server log files
When you visit the website, the web server processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested address, amount of data transferred, referrer and browser identifier. This is required to deliver the site and detect attacks (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is not combined with other data and is kept only as long as necessary for this purpose.
Cloudflare
We use the content delivery network of Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, c/o Mindspace, 80331 Munich, Germany (“Cloudflare”) to improve the security and delivery speed of the website. For this purpose, personal data may be processed in Cloudflare’s server log files. Cloudflare acts as our processor. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in not operating a content delivery network ourselves (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You may object to this processing; whether the objection succeeds depends on a balancing of interests. Without this processing, the website cannot be guaranteed to work.
For international data transfers, Cloudflare relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. More information: Cloudflare DPA, Cloudflare privacy policy.
Contact by email
If you email us, we process your address and the content of your message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a potential engagement, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f)). The data is deleted once the request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention periods apply. Please note that emails without end-to-end encryption can be read by third parties in transit.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability, and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR). An informal email is enough. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg.
